Objectives
This workshop is designed for K–8 educators who are beginning to introduce computer science in their classrooms and want to learn how to effectively implement Code.org.
Participants will gain an understanding of:
- The Code.org Curriculum: Exploration of the curriculum pathways available within Code.org and Code Studio
- Best Practices for Implementation: Hands-on guidance for integrating the lessons and activities effectively within the constraints and schedule of a typical elementary or middle school classroom.
- Navigating the Platform: Practical instruction on utilizing Code Studio, including managing student accounts, tracking progress, and accessing teacher resources.
Stipend and PGP Points
Workshop attendees will receive 6 PGP points.
This workshop is eligible for CSPDWeek Continuing Education.
This workshop is eligible for a $100 incentive for all attendees.
