This Open Mic Night Series explores explores how multimedia and AI tools empower students to create, collaborate, and communicate learning. Participants will experience seven engaging platforms, discover strategies to increase student agency and engagement, and leave with classroom-ready ideas that amplify every learner’s voice.

This Open Mic Night Series explores Data (Science) in the News. Participants will engage in discussions surrounding real artifacts of data found in local, national, and/or global news. Sessions are intentionally low-pressure and conversation-driven. No preparation needed, only enthusiastic participation required.

Participants will engage in informal, discussion-based conversations about topics such as autonomous vehicles, facial recognition technology, AI-powered everyday tools, and the ethical and societal implications of these innovations.
