Investigating the 2024 eClipSe using Computer Science
Overview
Indiana is going dark on April 8, 2024 when our state is on the path of totality for the solar eclipse and Nextech is EXCITED about the computer science integration opportunities for this event!
Join us as we walk you through a full week’s worth of computer science integrated Eclipse lessons that explore easy and accessible ways on how to use computer science as the vehicle for students to investigate and explore moon phases, astronomy, and the eClipSe through both plugged and unplugged CS activities. Activities use the Indiana grade-level science, integrated STEM, and computer science standards to give you an opportunity to teach the science through computer science.
