LevelUP Challenges & Events
Level up your CS skills! Nextech LevelUP is all about getting you to the next place in your CS journey. Whether that is learning more about tech careers, growing your CS skills or attending a workshop or event, LevelUP will get your there. Each program is built for various levels of CS experience making it available to all.
Family Code Night
The Nextech LevelUP Family Code Night is a jam-packed evening full of coding fun for the whole family. Open to all Hoosier K-5 students and their families, this virtual event introduces a coding concept and encourages families to work together to solve a puzzle. No prior coding experience or knowledge is required.

Winter Challenge
Open to students in 6-12 grades, the LevelUP Winter Challenge is a series of achievements across numerous CS topics. Created to be completed individually, students can complete as many achievements as they want and earn awesome prizes along the way. And, progress is tracked on the LevelUP leaderboard, so students can challenge their friends and earn bragging rights as they climb up the leaderboard.
Open to students in 6-12 grades, the LevelUP Winter Challenge is a series of achievements across numerous CS topics. Created to be completed individually, students can complete as many achievements as they want and earn awesome prizes along the way. Student Outcomes
Our goal is to increase exposure to computer science regardless of knowledge level or experience. Specifically, students will:
- Increase motivation to pursue more activities in technology
- Be inspired to explore or consider career in technology
- Deepen understanding of how technology can be applied to solve real-world problems
- Grow confidence in technical/coding abilities
