Bootstrap Data Science
Overview
Bootstrap: Data Science is a suite of free curricular materials for secondary students which teach students how to answer real-world questions using data.
Bootstrap can be offered in many different ways in many different courses. It can be offered as a full-year dedicated data science class, offered as an elective, or integrated into existing disciplines (like algebra, social studies, or the sciences, just to name a few). Whether it’s exploring experimental data in Science, population data in History, or using logarithms to fit exponential relationships using linear functions in Algebra 2, there is a smooth on-ramp for teachers to build on the curriculum that they already have and use in their classroom and integrate authentic data science.
