Nextech Educator Book Studies
Overview
Computer science is a new field for many teachers, and even for those teachers where it isn’t a new discipline, often teachers need a reason to focus and reflect on their own CS teaching strategies and CS teaching pedagogy. Nextech will offer three book studies per year (two in the summer/fall and one in the spring) focused on continuing education for teachers on effective computer science teaching practices.
Each individual book study will meet virtually two times with asynchronous work in between meetings to keep the group on track and engaged. Discussion questions will be emailed out to registered participants prior to the book study meetings.
