Standalone Workshops
Nextech supports Indiana K–12 teachers through focused, one-day workshops spanning computer science, AI, data science, standards, and more. These sessions build teachers’ content knowledge and instructional confidence while delivering practical, classroom-ready resources and tools teachers can use immediately.
Byte-sized Training
Nextech offers byte-sized training through short, focused webinars that help Indiana educators quickly build awareness and skills across computer science, AI, data science, and more. Designed for busy schedules, these sessions deliver timely insights, practical examples, and clear takeaways teachers can immediately apply in their classrooms.
Book Studies
Nextech facilitates guided book studies that bring together educators to explore books on CS, AI, and teaching pedagogy. Through shared reading and structured discussion, teachers deepen their understanding, reflect on classroom impact, and connect ideas from the text to practical classroom (and life) strategies.
Professional Learning Communities
Nextech’s topical PLCs connect educators on like topics and provide dedicated time and a structure for teachers to collaborate, share resources, problem-solve, and strengthen their practice together over time.
CSPDWeek
Designed for all levels of educators tasked with teaching computer science and artificial intelligence, CSPDWeek is a partnership between Nextech and the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA), with support the Indiana Department of Education.
This comprehensive, weeklong event removes all barriers for bringing CS and AI to the classroom. All expenses, including lodging and meals are provided at no cost to the teacher, school or district. Teachers receive extensive training materials, along with classroom materials, and a stipend for their time spent at the conference.

Nextech is here to help educators make sense of what’s new, what’s useful, and what’s next.
As a trusted, Indiana-based partner, we work with school and district leaders to bring high-quality, standards-aligned computer science education to life—without adding more to their plate.
We’re experts in evolving state requirements and national best practices, and we help educators and teams navigate curriculum shifts and build future-ready programs that integrate AI, data science, and other emerging technologies.
I love interacting (in person) with other computer science teachers in the state of Indiana. This is basically the only opportunity I get to do this. As the only CS teacher in my school, I need more opportunities like this!
