Nextech Navigate High School CS Conference
Virtual CS conference for high school students
Modeled after tech and educational conferences, Nextech Navigate is a a virtual computer science conference designed to inspire 9-12 graders to pursue a post-secondary path in computer science and technology, and to remind them that they are the innovators of our future. All high schools students in Indiana are invited to attend the full-day event regardless of computer science class enrollment and type of school they attended.
At Navigate, students are empowered to make their own agenda by choosing topics from four different educational tracks that interested them most. Workshops focused on the following topics:
- How computer science enables change for good;
- Indiana tech community & tech companies;
- Tech applications and CS concepts via technical instruction; and
- Post-secondary paths & build career readiness skills.

2020 Nextech Navigate Highlights
Navigate 2020 was built to educate and inspire high school students about the power of computer science and careers in technology. Sponsored by OneAmerica and AT&T, the day included a keynote by Jia Jiang, CEO of DareMe, a welcome from Governor Eric Holcomb and 37 speakers across 24 sessions.
