Website and Database Development Course

Overview

The Next Level Programs of Study (NLPS) Website and Database Development course is designed for students to gain a basic understanding of essential website and database design elements, skills and business practices. The nature of this course allows for many different classroom implementation approaches based on the background of the teacher and the interests of the students.

Over a two day summer workshop teachers will be guided through unpacking the Website and Database Development course and its competencies. Teachers will explore different implementation options using various curriculum options per content area and practice the skills needed to teach this course. At the end of this workshop educators will walk away with projects and lessons ready to implement into their classroom.

Teachers will reconnect as a group once each semester for additional just-in-time professional development, resource sharing, and collaboration.
