Getting Started with Code.org

Overview

Let’s go slow and understand what Code.org has to offer and how it works. This workshop will take attendees through everything Code.org has to offer, including their K-5 curricular options, CS Connections lessons, standalone modules, standalone workspaces, and teacher tools.

Eligibility and Pre-Requisites

This workshop is for K-12 Computer Science Teachers, Media/Library Specialists, Resource/Tech Teachers, and General Education classroom teachers that are starting to bring computer science to their classrooms.

Workshop Format

  • In-Person: Live, half day workshop held at locations across the state.
  • Virtual: Virtual, half day workshop held via zoom
