Integrating CS Using Code.org & AI in Any 6-8 Classroom

Overview

Designed for 6-8 educators teaching across all subjects, this workshop empowers teachers to integrate computer science into any subject area with confidence. 

Participants will explore the importance of CS and AI, learn how to implement Code.org’s CS Connections, and leave with a concrete plan to engage their students in meaningful computing experiences.

Eligibility and Pre-Requisites

This workshop is for 6-8 Computer Science Teachers, Media/Library Specialists, Resource/Tech Teachers, and General Education classroom teachers that have already begun bringing computer science to their classrooms.

Workshop Format

  • In-Person: Live workshops held at locations across the state
  • Virtual: Two synchronous sessions and one asynchronous session, offered over one or multiple days

    • Saturday, January 24 8:00-12:00PM ET
    • Tuesday, February 24 AND Thursday, February 26, 2026, 4:00-6:00PM ET
