Unleashing tech potential

Hannah thought she wanted to become an animator. She loved drawing and video games, so it seemed like the perfect career.

Like so many high school students, she had no idea what creative potential computer science could unleash … until she experienced Nextech.

“Nextech showed me so many ways I could use what I love to do in a career I will love.”

Hannah is now at IUPUI pursuing a dual major in web and video game design. On graduation, she plans to become a UI (user interface) developer, designing the visual touchpoints that make a game or site aesthetically rewarding.

“The people at Nextech helped me expand my knowledge and understanding of what I’m really good at. They helped me feel confident. I’m really thankful for that.”

Besides improving her skills and teaching her how to work in teams to solve problems, Nextech introduced Hannah to one of the strongest tech communities in the country.

“Getting to hear from so many people in the Indianapolis tech community is what makes Nextech a one-of-a-kind organization. I learned how close this group is, and it makes me happy knowing that they’ll be there while I’m in college and beyond.”
